Summerlove Sensation opens Saturday, July 18, 6-9pm at Perrotin. Eternal lust and sultry heat-wave longing abound across a #BigSummerGroupShow paying tribute to the sticky, dizzying allure of summer romance. Taking its title from a 1974 pop hit, the exhibition frames this seasonal archetype as both a physical and psychic landscape, with saturated tones and tactile materials, polished and rougher organic surfaces, sinuous lines and radiant portraits, quixotic sculptural erotics, and the cosmic undercurrents of beer busts at the moon tower.
